Essad: A Kurd State In Iraq Is My Red Line Too

Essad said that the EU process, which would contribute to the welfare and development of Turkey, would positively affect Syria as well. Essad said; Once Turkey becomes a member of EU, Syria will be a neighbor of EU. This is very important for us. Moreover, Turkey, as the first Moslem country to enter to EU, can change the viewpoint of the West regarding Islam.

Essad added that PKK had no kind of activity in Syria at the moment and that no PKK militant crossed to Turkey from Syria since 1987.
