Erdogan talks with Egypt into Gaza through the Rafah crossing

According to sources consulted by Turkish newspapers, coinciding with the diplomatic crisis with Israel, the authorities in Ankara are still negotiating with the Egyptians to give permission to the prime minister and he can cross the border with the Palestinian territory through the Rafah crossing .
According to ‘Sabah’, if so, Erdogan became the first prime minister to visit Gaza via Rafah since the start of the Israeli blockade.
The tour will take place following diplomatic measures against Israel last Friday because of the repeated refusal of Tel Aviv to apologize for the deaths of nine Turkish activists during the assault on the Freedom Flotilla last year, although in August Erdogan had shown its interest in visiting the Strip.
Some media had speculated that Erdogan traveled by boat to the Palestinian territory to try to break the Israeli blockade, since among the Turkish government’s decision included "take the necessary measures to ensure freedom of navigation in the Eastern Mediterranean."
In fact, diplomatic sources quoted by ‘Milliyet’ said they "will not let freedom of navigation in this area to Israel’s will."
"From our point of view, the important thing is that the attack occurred in international waters of the Eastern Mediterranean, a strategic area for us. (…) This is unacceptable," said the diplomat.
Currently Turkey has a frigate in the area and plans to increase its number "three or four," so, according to the analysis of the Turkish newspaper, could result in a situation similar provocations which for years was among the Turkish pilots and Greeks around the Aegean islands.
But finally, Erdogan’s visit will not take place by sea but by land.
The Turkish president is scheduled to start the next day 12 a tour of several Middle East and North Africa, including Libya, which will end on 18 when they travel to New York to attend the UN General Assembly.
The first visit will be to Egypt, he would use to move to Gaza.
In his monthly letter to the press, Minister for European Affairs, Egemen Bagis, reiterated that the broken ties with Israel will continue unless the government Hebrew "apologize and pay compensation to the families of the martyrs who lost their lives and put end to the unjust, illegal and unreasonable embargo on Gaza. "
"We believe that anyone who is for peace, justice and the rule of law, be on the side of Turkey. The people of the world will be against the government of Israel that injects the poison of hatred on the Israeli people and Jews living outside of Israel and support Turkey, which sows the seeds of peace in every corner of the world, "he added.
