Erdogan made declarations creating polemics

A prime minister should be serious and have responsibility towards the problems of his country. Let’s begin with the first argument that ‘Ataturk exploiters made the country worse’. The prime minister tries to create a made-up danger like ‘Ataturk exploiters mean danger’. Is there really a danger like that? What disturbs the prime minister? Ataturk exploiters or real Kemalism? The prime minister should not abuse the words Ataturk or Kemalism. This brings some serious, critical and dangerous debates with it."

Education
Baykal, criticising Erdogan’s words on education said, "Erdogan says education should be in the hands of the private sector. Is there any country which does this? It looks like the prime minister is unaware of the education problems in Turkey. A person who sends his children for education abroad with bursaries from ‘close friends’ is not expected to be aware of these problems."

Tax Terror
Baykal stated that the prime minister’s style of expressing his thoughts about the protests of workers and employees was not the correct style. He also noted that the public was under a large tax burden like in no other governmental period and the situation could completely be called a tax terror.
