Erdogan Leaves For Moscow

”Besides our neighborly relations, we aim at further improving our economic and commercial relations with Russia. During our visit to Moscow, we will hold talks with President Putin and Prime Minister Kasyanov. Contacts to be held between our ministers and their Russian counterparts will make an important contribution to further improvement of our bilateral relations with the Russian Federation. Also, we will attend Union of Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB)-Russian Business Council meeting, and inauguration of a new Ramstore. Our businessmen will meet with Russian businessmen. We will try to highlight the importance we attributed to development of economic and commercial relations with the Russian Federation. I hope that our visit will accelerate relations between Turkey and the Russian Federation,” he said.
When asked whether or not the issues of natural gas and the Blue Stream Project would come onto agenda during his contacts, Erdogan said that they would hold contacts on these issues.
