End of Petkim for Uzans

The last offer of Standart Chemicals, that won the tender, to sign the contract was reportedly rejected with a secret letter and the temporary guarantee of 10 million dollars will reportedly be demanded from BDDK.

On July 23 Standart Chemicals announced the contract offer it communicated to the Privatization Administration. The group, which could not make the administration accept the letter of guarantee of the Adabank, increased the down payment from 242 million dollars to 305. The Privatization Administration quickly rejected this offer, then the Adabank operation started and the sale of Petkim became even more problematic.
