Eleven PKK members arrested in Istanbul

The detained members of the organization were providing logistical support to militants engaged in armed clashes with security officers.

Police also uncovered a plot by the terrorists to throw explosives at bank in the Eminou district of Istanbul on Oct. 19, 2003.

During the raid police also seized supplies including medicine, electronics, and terrorist instruction manuals.

The suspects will be sent to the State Security Court (DGM) for trial after their interrogations are completed.
