Election Call for Insurgents

The Iraqi Interim Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, said yesterday that many officials suggested this during the Iraqi Conference, held earlier this week in Egypt.

The interim government agreed to meet with the insurgents.

"Whether or not the state supports this process, they will welcome the participation of all the parties on the condition that they give up terror and violence," said Zebari.
