The results of the economic programme implemented in Turkiye to accelerate global fund flows can be seen from the second half of 2024, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said on his social media account c premium.

“The results of the economic programme we are implementing will be visible from the second half of 2024, which will further consolidate investor confidence and accelerate global fund flows to our country. This will limit the downside risks of the disinflation programme on the short-term growth outlook,” Simsek said.

Simsek also drew attention to the news that Turkiye’s 5-year credit risk premium fell to 364.64 basis points yesterday, testing the lowest level of the last 2.5 years.
