Double Monuments to Grief

Spanish Defense Minister Jose Bono Martinez attended the inauguration ceremony, reading a poem he wrote for them. 3rd Army Commander General Oktar Ataman joined the inauguration.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vecdi Gonul said that "I deem your children ours, as the minister of a country who lost tens of thousands of its children for peace."
