Dollar breaks record in Türkiye, surpassing 40 TL
The dollar has surpassed the 40 TL threshold in Türkiye, setting a new record, APA-Economics reports.
On March 19, at 11:38 Baku time, the dollar/TL exchange rate crossed the 40 TL mark, reaching 40.8140 TL. Currently, the dollar is trading at 38.88 TL. Overall, in the past 24 hours, the Turkish lira has depreciated by around 11% against the dollar.
