Demirel: Turkey should send troops for Iraq’s stability

“The Iraq issue is not Turkey sending troops to Iraq but it’s to provide stability, peace and welfare in the region. Turkey should take part in establishing stability in Iraq,” Demirel said in response to a question as whether Turkey should send troops to Iraq.

Addressing “Unions and organisations’ conditions under European Union accordance laws” symposium arranged by Marmara Group Strategic and Social Researches Organisation and Religious and Social Services Union, Demirel said in resonse to a question whether where should Turkish soldier should deploy, Demirel said that these are details and the state and the military would know about it.
