Death Toll Is Increasing In Iran

Cihanbas Hancani, the Speaker of the Iranian Interior Ministry, said that while the death toll rose to 22 thousand, 20 thousand 500 of them were buried. Iranian official news agency IRNA reported that rescue teams were able to save at least a thousand people with the help of advanced devices.

Interior Minister Abdulvahid Musavi Lari said that the final number of casualties would definitely exceed 20 thousand, while officials from Iranian rescue teams said that the death toll might reach up to 40 thousand.

Turkey, Greece, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Armenia, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy, Britain, Germany, Syria, U.S., Slovakia, Morocco, Finland, France, Algeria, Ukraine, Poland, and Egypt sent aid and different types of assistance to Iran so far.
