Cyprus: Denktas not to meet with Weston

Denktas stated that there was no use to repeat the same things and Weston showed himself as target to Turkish Cypriots.

Asked whether Weston was informed that Turkish Cypriot president wouldn’t meet with himself, Denktas responded that Weston was told that he wouldn’t be on the island.

Denktas said, "Weston acts as if we are obstacle in front of a solution, but Greek National Council’s 1989 decision is a wedge in front of resolution. Everyone read that decision and they made Weston read once more.
