Cyprus: Denktas is sure of his voter’s backing

Denktas said that elections was not on the issue of whether to join the EU or not and stated that elections was the issue of whether to save this state or not.

"EU was brought onto the agenda with the pressure of Greece," he said.

Denktas said that they wanted an agreement not on paper, but one which was based on the state.
