Coalition forces continue operations in Mosul

US-led forces hold an operation around the house due to they had an imformation of an attack on coalition troops. US soldiers took range measures around the regon. They searched the residents vehicles. One Iraqi was wounded on his head and an American soldier was injured on his hand during the operation. The troops also arrested an Iraqi man.
Saddam’s sons were slain Tuesday in the northern city of Mosul when US soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division and special forces launched a massive assault on the home of a tribal leader where the two were hiding out. While his sons are now dead, Saddam himself is still at large, missing since the fall of Baghdad to coalition forces on April 9 and believed to be hiding out somewhere in Iraq.
