Clashes, Pipeline Sabotage in Iraq

Iraqi police officer Burhan Taib reported that a cooperative building in Kirkuk came under fire earlier this morning and that the security guard at the building was killed. Major Adil Ibrahim added a movie theatre was set ablaze before dawn.

Northern Natural Gas Company security guard Ahmet Al-Hasan said that a gas pipeline in Kirkuk was bombed and that the flow of gas was immediately interrupted.

Meanwhile, US soldiers reported that they killed two resisters who opened fire on American troops in Ramadi; hospital officials said five Iraqis were wounded in the clash.

In Bakuba, northeast of Bagdat (Baghdad), five stores were blown up. A taxi driver passing though the area when the blast occurred was killed.
