CHP: Credit Restricted Options Of Turkey

Oyan reminded that the agreement on the loan should be approved by Parliament to be operational and that “ I hope, Parliament will reject it. If you give up your independence once, you will lose it altogether in time.”

Oyan said that Turkey should demand an economic compensation from U.S. but this should not be tied to a political condition. Oyan also reminded that Turkey received a 4-billion-dollar loan during the Gulf War, but that loan was not tied to any political compromise.
