And thanks to its location, it stays warm much later into the season, which means you can still soak up the sun while avoiding the school holidays if you want to.
We’ve scouted around for some deals for the next couple of months and found some real bargains.
Thomas Cook has one of the cheapest deals around.
You can stay at the 3* Bagevleri Hotel in Gumbet, near Bodrum, for 7 nights from £230pp.
The price includes return flights with easyJet from London Gatwick on September 30, as well as accommodation on a self catered basis.
The hotel is within walking distance of the local beach but it has its own pool as well.
Another option is the 3* London Blue Hotel in Dalaman, which is near the beach and town centre.
On The Beach has a deal there for £290pp for 7 nights when departing from London Gatwick on September 2.
