Central Bank Poll Shows Decrease In Inflation Rate
According to the first June poll, the end of year TUFE estimation, which was about 19.8- 40 in the second poll of May, did not change in June. The projected inflation rate, based on current TUFE, which was 1.2 in the second poll of May, decreased to 0.8. The TUFE projection, which was 0.3 – 2.2 in the second poll of May, dropped to (-) 0.4 – 2.0 in the first poll of June.
According to June’s first poll results, the expected Consumer Price Index for the next two-month interval is (-) 0.5 – 2.8, with the inflation rate projected at 1.0. In the second poll of May, the Consumer Price Index had been estimated at (-) 0.1 – 2.5 percent.
The Consumer Price Index projected interval for the next 12-month period is 10.6-35, with the average expectation having decreased to 21.2. The second poll of May had pegged the Consumer Price Index projection for the next 12-month period at 14-35, with an average of 22.9 percent.
