A 50-year-old Italian businesswoman
has died after cosmetic surgery in Turkey.

   
Milena Mancini died after twenty days in intensive care at
Istanbul University Hospital.

   
She was hospitalized after an unexpected issue while undergoing
liposuction in the Turkish capital.

   
According to reports, which are currently unconfirmed by medical
sources, the woman suffered an accidental stomach injury during
the cosmetic surgery.

   
A real estate agent, Milena Mancini was the daughter of
industrialist Alvaro Mancini, one of the founders and directors
of Indexa SpA, a company specializing in industrial maintenance
and services.

   
Her sister, Rita, is a renowned biologist who practices in the
Italian capital, where she also teaches at La Sapienza
University; her other sister, Sara, has an ice cream shop at
Isola del Liri south of Rome.

   
She had two daughters.
