Bush was Warned Before 9/11

In the course of investigations into the administration’s neglect that lead to the events of 9/11 a document has emerged showing that Bush was aware of Al-Qaeda’s plans to attack the U.S. The document in question consists of a recently declassified memo, received by Bush in August 2001, concerning the threat of terrorism. The document is entitled "Bin Laden determined to attack U.S."

It is reported that thereabouts Bush was given this briefing the U.S. intelligence had had two different reports that terrorists could attack with a plane, but they were not found convincing enough. U.S. National Security Adviser, Condoleeza Rice, in her testimony, which has drawn a great deal attention in the U.S., said that there had been information concerning the threat Al Qaeda had posed in the past but that there was no mention made of any present threat at that time.
