Bush Makes 3 Important Appointments

One of the top-level advisers at the State Department John Bellinger was appointed as legal consultant and US Ambassador to Egypt David Welch was appointed as Assistant for Near Eastern Affairs.

In order for these appointments to become effective, they are awaiting the US Senate’s approval.
