Brussels: Armenian reacts to Turkey’s EU membership

European Armenian Assembly held a conference, which many Armenian Association’s members, some of academicians, a European Parliament’s member and Turkey/Germany Human Rights Association’s member Hulya Engin joined it, on Wednesday in Brussels, members of EAA reacts to Turkey’s EU membership, they claim that, Turkish government does not behave respectfully to the religion minority’s rights.

At the meeting, some of participants claimed that, bloody-November attacks in Istanbul shows that, minorities have faced to intense attacks." They also deterimined that, about 100 thousands Jewish had been living in Turkey, 1923, but this number decreased to 22 thousands nowadays. They also criticized Turkish government which does not accept Armenian genocide.
