Bilateral Cyprus talks end, no deal-Greek Cypriots

Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos said on Monday bilateral talks with Turkish Cypriots on a peace deal had reached no agreement and would now move to Switzerland, where Turkey and Greece would join them.

"At this phase of talks there has not been any significant progress, in any case, not on issues of substance," Papadopoulos told Reuters after talks in Nicosia with Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas and United Nations envoy Alvaro de Soto.
