Basra: Oil pipeline near Basra flames up

Fire fighters were waiting for a bulldozer to clear access right up to the blaze. Some British troops were sent to the disaster area to get the fire under control whereas the local firemen were insufficent to put off the fire. Besides, the press members aren’t allowed to enter the scene by British administration in scope of security measures.
