Bagdat Turns into Murder Capital

Bagdat (Baghdad), IRAQ, November 13, 2003 – Post-war chaos in Iraq has taken on catastrophic dimensions with an estimated 22,000-55,000 deaths in the country in the last six months. The capital Bagdat (Baghdad) has become the center of murders by unknown perpetrators. An average of 23 murders a day are committed in the city by unknown assailants.
