Bad news for Bangladesh and Turkey as India capable of destroying their conspiracy of deploying…., on first…
There have been unconfirmed reports that Bangladesh might be planning to disturb peace along the border with India.

New Delhi: India and Bangladesh are not having any cordial relations lately since prime minister Sheikh Hasina had to flee the country following a violent revolution. Also, there have been unconfirmed reports that Dhaka might be planning to disturb peace along the border with India.
Taking it forward, Bangladesh has recently acquired 12 Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drones which are seemingly deployed along the India-Bangladesh border by the Bangladesh Army intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance purposes.
Bayraktar TB2 drones are Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) drones bought by Bangladesh a year after Pakistan purchased and deployed these drones at strategic places. This means that both the eastern and western borders of India are vulnerable to Pakistani and Bangladeshi misadventures. However, Bangladesh claims that these drones have been deployed for safety purposes.
In fact, it has been reported that these drones have been flying dangerously close to India’s northeastern states as the local media reported that TB2 drones were hovering close to Cherrapunjee and Shella in Meghalaya, flying close to the International Border. A few days ago, another drone was noticed along the international border in South Tripura and Western Mizoram. If it crosses the border, the Indian Air Defense systems will take it down on first violation.
TB2 Bayraktar drones
The Bayraktar TB2 drone is manufactured by Baykar Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş, a Turkish defence manufacturer. It is a medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) capable of being remotely controlled or autonomous flight operations.
It is 8 times lighter than the American-made MQ-9 Reaper, has a maximum speed of 230 km per hour and boasts a wide range of offensive capabilities, including MAM (Smart Micro Munition) laser-guided missiles which can easily destroy modern battle tanks.
The drones have an operational range of around 300 km and flight time of 24 hours, making them capable of penetrating deep into enemy territory and without being detected by conventional radars.
Bayraktar TB2 drones have a payload capacity of 150 kg and are equipped with electro-optical cameras, infrared cameras, laser designators, laser range finders and laser pointers. They also produce a nauseating sound, which could be a method of sonic warfare, according to several reports.
Before Bangladesh, Pakistan acquired the Bayraktar TB2 drones in 2023 and deployed these at strategic locations. Reports say that prior to receiving the drones, a team of Pakistan Air Force officers had undergone extensive training in Turkey to operate this drone. Maldives has also reportedly signed a deal with Turkey to acquire Bayraktar TB2 drones.
