Armenian nuclear plant casts threat for Igdir residents
Recalling a nuclear radiation leak after an eartquake in 1988, Aras said they are taking radiation measures in seven different places a day.
"The plant is using 1970s technology," he added.
"We conveyed the problems that we encounter to the ministers and officials visiting the region," said Aras.
Aras stated the plant is not meeting the European Union standards and it is one of the most dangerous nuclear plants in EU besides Bulgaria’s Kozluduy plant.
