Anti-war demonstrations held in Istanbul

A group of people who are members of Socialist Democracy Party (SDP) chanted slogans in Kadıkoy district of Istanbul. When police intervened with the group, some of the group members threw stones on the police. Police detained 27 persons.

In another protest, eight persons who attempted to hold an illegal demonstration in front of Harbiye officer’s club to protest sending soldiers were also detained.
