Annan plan aims to take Turkey out of Cyprus

"There are rich oil beds in the sea between Turkey and TRNC. This is very important for the US and EU," said TRNC ambassador to Turkey.

ANKARA (AA) – Ahmet Zeki Bulunc, the Ambassador of TRNC to Turkey said that on Thursday that the main target of Annan plan was to take Turkey out of Cyprus.

"There are rich oil beds in the sea between Turkey and TRNC. This is very important for the U.S. and EU," said Bulunc.

Bulunc who visited Denizli Governor Gazi Simsek the same day, told journalists that various games were played against Turkey and TRNC and Annan plan which came to agenda one year ago was a part of that plan.
