Ankara: Turkey’s Israel Policy Unchanged
“There is no change in Turkey’s Israel policy. Relations between the two countries continue within their own dynamics.”
Meanwhile, 20 Israeli Army tanks closed the entry points to the Ramallah compund of Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat yesterday. Arafat has been forced to stay at the compound for the past two and a half years. Israeli Deputy Defense Minister, Zeev Boim, said Arafat was not the target of the action and that the best thing for Arafat to do is retire. Israeli Maariv newspaper published on April 25th that Israel is preparing a case to send Arafat into exile in Gaza.
