Ankara looks into block flight formula for Incirlik

Under a proposal to allow the US to make use of the airbase in southern Turkey, the US will only be allowed to transfer soldiers and supplies bound for destinations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Among the possible formula being put forward is that the Turkish government will table a new motion in parliament and sign an agreement with Washington. Another option is that a former government decree, signed in 2003 and due to expire on June 23, could be extended to allow US aircraft to use the base.
