Al-Qaeda Leader Caught in Pakistan

The official, who wants to remain anonymous, said earlier today that Numan has been in Pakistan for eight years and was an "important member of new Al-Qaeda administration".

Another intelligence official added that Numan came to Lahor from the Pakistani capital Islamabad 10 days ago.

Over 70 Al-Qaeda suspects, some of whom are foreigners, have been captured in Pakistan since the arrest of Al-Qaeda’s computer expert Mohammed Nur Khan in July.
