Abbas Promises to Finds Tel Aviv Attackers

Following the attack, Abbas called for an emergency meeting with the security officials and issued a written statement following the meeting. The Palestinian Authorities will take action against those hindering the peace process and responsible parties will be sought out, found, and punished, the statement reads.

The attack aims at destroy recent efforts made to bring peace to the region, said Abbas. He also called on Israel to conduct a joint investigation to find those responsible.

Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erakat, Interior Minister Naser Yusuf and former Gaza Strip security chief and Civilian Affairs Minister of the new government Mohammed Dahlan attended the emergency meeting.
