A Kurdish play on the stages for the first time in Turkey
The three-episode play entitled "Slight Pain" that totally consist of Kurdish dialogue and performed by Kurdish players was about a woman who was killed by her relatives due to her adultery. The play aims to indicate the problems of the eastern Anatolian women in the personality of Semsiye Allak.
The nine-member performance is scheduled to be performed in October in Diyarbakir at first and the thaetre will make a Turkey tour for the play.
It was stated that such kind of Kurdish theatre performances indicated how Turkey were decisive about the implemantation of the EU reforms that pave the way for full EU membership.
