A Great Friend Of The Turks, Sam Weems, Died

Samuel A. Weems, a former District attorney and Judge from Arkansas was
born on December 12, 1936 In Hazen, Arkansas. He earned a Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. In addition to serving on the city council, Sam Weems was elected one of the 100 delegates to rewrite the Arkansas Constitution.
The author of the above-mentioned popular book, he was also responsible
for the publication of many articles and magazine stories. Mr.Weems traveled extensively during his research about the subjects he enjoyed so much. These trips took him to London, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Baku, Washington, D.C, and Istanbul. Funeral services will take place on Monday Jan 27, 2003 at 2:00, PM at
The Calgary Baptist Church. Visitations are to be held in Westbrook Funeral Home.
Mr.Weems is survived by his 94 year-old mother Ethel, and a son Jonathan who lives in West Memphis, Arkansas.
Samuel A Weems, was an indomitable Scott and adopted Turk. He will be sorely-missed and surely remembered Eternally for his altruistic deeds by every Turk alive in Turkey and in Azerbaijan.
