Sides agree on launching negotiations on Feb 19
NEW YORK (AA) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal announced on Friday that all sides accepted UN Secretary General Kofi Annan’s working process regarding Cyprus, and negotiations would start on February 19.
Sources said that negotiations would take place in Cyprus.
Speaking to reporters after tripartite meeting, TRNC President Rauf Denktas said, "our people should not worry. Our rights and sovereignty will be absolutely protected."
