Turkey-Lithuania sign cooperation deal on defense industry

MUNICH (AA) – Turkey and Lithuania signed on Saturday cooperation agreement on defense industry.

National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, who is currently in Germany for the 40th Munich Security Conference, and Lithuanian Defense Minister Linas Linkevicius signed the agreement.

Linkevicius told the A.A correspondent that it was the third agreement they signed in defense field with Turkey and stated that agreements on exchange of secret information and other issues were earlier signed between the two countries.

Linkevicius said that he would also participate in NATO Summit which would be held in Istanbul at the end of June.

Gonul said that Linkevicius would also have meetings in Ankara.
