Turkish PM Erdogan to leave for South Korea tonight

ANKARA (AA) – Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will leave for South Korea on Saturday night.

Erdogan who will pay an official visit to this country will be received by South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun and meet with business circles.

Erdogan will separately receive members of Turkey-South Korea Friendship Association, Daewoo company’s president and LG company officials and have dinner with Turkish businessmen on Sunday night.

Following the official welcome ceremony on Monday, Erdogan will be received by South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun and meet with Seoul mayor. After meeting with South Korean business circles in lunch, Erdogan will address the opening of Turkish-Korean Business Council meeting.

Erdogan will pay a courtesy visit to Korean Parliament Speaker, speak to Korean journalists and attend the dinner to be hosted by South Korean President in his honour. On Tuesday, Erdogan will proceed to Pusan from Seoul and visit Turkish soldiers’ graveyard in U.N. mausoleum. Later he will visit Hyundai factory in Ulsan.

Erdogan will later return to Pusan and leave for Turkey.
