Iraqi employees protest nonpayment salaries

The protestors carried banners written on "Democracy: Pover", "We die for livelihood of our children" amid slogans denouncing nonpayment of salaries. The march caused a traffic jam in some parts of the city. The protestors made press statements at the point check outside US administration’s headquarter. Climbing on barrier outside the headquarter, a speaker, Ali Uveydi, told that Iraq’s Governing Council reached a decision to pay salaries. "We are as workers of Information Ministery six thounsands of people. All we have families whom we must earn livelihood for." told Uveydi.
