Energy minister meets with businessmen in Baku

AKU (AA) – Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler, who is currently paying an official visit to Azerbaijani capital Baku, met on Tuesday with businessmen acting in energy sector.

The meeting took place at office of the Turkish Petroleum Corp. (TPAO) in Baku.

Businessmen gave information to Guler about their activities, and exchanged views on the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan crude oil pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum natural gas pipeline projects.

Later, Guler visited the Turkish Embassy in Baku.

Guler is scheduled to sign the final agreement about the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan crude oil pipeline project with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

Guler and the accompanying delegation are expected to depart from Baku later in the day.
