Turkish police to train African police
Speaking to the A.A correspondent on Friday, Ali Korucu, one of the fifteen ranking police officers, said that they had passed the exam of the United Nations and they were now getting prepared to leave for Liberia.
Noting that they would stay there for one year and they would fulfil their mission in the U.N. Police Peace Force, Korucu said, "the United Nations joined the administration as an observer after the civil war. Police and other institutions are under control of the United Nations. And we are going to fulfil our duty as observers and trainers in several cities there together with police officers of nearly forty countries."
Korucu said that there were police officers from the crime scene investigation and criminal departments among them.
