Traffic accident kills three, injures three IN K. Maras

A pickup truck owned by Ali Erbay (21) collided with a truck while on the way to Adana. Driver Ali Erbay, his mother Fidan Erbay (47) and his brother Yusuf Erbay (13) all died at the scene. Ali Erbay’s father, Bektas Erbay (50), the driver of the other truck, Mehdi Cinar (45) and an unidentified female passenger (20) were injured as a result of the collision. The injured passengers were taken to Kahramanmaras State Hospital for treatment.

The traffic accident reportedly was the result of a lane violation committed by Ali Erbay.

A police investigation into the accident is currently under way.
