Last farewell to benevolent German woman

Both priest and local mufti prayed to bid farewell before her last journey upon her will as saying, "my grave will be in Alanya when I die. And have someones make prayer beads and chant the Mevlit for me."
67-year-old woman lost her life after having a heart attack. She was known with her benevolence in Alanya district of southern Antalya province where she had lived for the last 17 years. She had treated with kindness and generosity to poor people and oftenly donorated writing materials, shoes, dresses to pupils in the villages lying outskirts of the Taurus Mountains in southern Turkey.

German priest Reiner Koorten and Alanya’s mufti Muhammet Gevher seperately prayed for her soul and made brief adresses on her kindness.
Koorton said, "all people has same value in God’s opinion when they die. We have come from soil and will go to same place. Marianne Kusch was so good and beautiful person, that even Islamic world took her to its heart…"
Mufti Muhammet Gevher, for his part, said, "as you see, we (both community) are present here to pay our last respect. It is not possible so funeral ceremoy for everyone. Marianne’s kindness caused this situation. She had sarrowed and being shed tears for pain and sadness of Turks. Tears clean all kind of sins. While people kill each other for financial benefits in the world, Germans and Turks gathered here in a brotherly manner. This beautiful and meaningful scene should be a message to the entire world. Everyone is equal before Allah…"
Mourners decorated her grave with flowers as Turkish woman were shedding tears and praying.
