More aid pours from Turkey into Iran
Public relations department at provincial Red Crescent Society said on Tuesday that deputy head of Turkey’s Red Crescent Society Omar Tashli are visiting Iran to deliver the 36,400-dollar aid to Iranian authorities.
The Turkish official said the aid package included 200 tents, 14 generators, 7,500 blankets, 800 packs of clothes and 200 bags for transfer of dead bodies.
He said that last night, a team of relief workers, comprising a group of physicians and specialized relief workers, were flown to Iran through the newly established Ankara-Bam air link.
He added that Bam has been divided into eight districts, one of which has been allocated top Turkish relief aid.
The Turkish official concluded that Turkish Red Crescent Society offers help under the umbrella of the Islamic Republic Red Crescent Society.
