EU’s Verheugen angers Turks again

European Union’s top official for enlargement received flak from Turkey and Turkish Cyprus on Wednesday for warning Turkey of dire consequences of failure to find a settlement for the Cyprus issue and declaring support for opposition parties that will run in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Turkish Cyprus.
