Return Conditions for Kurdish Refugees

Ankara, TURKEY, November 15, 2003 – The wheels are in motion for the return of 12,000 Turkish citizens of Kurdish origin who, since 1988, have fled to Northern Iraq to live as refugees.

There are 9,000 refugees living in the Mahmur Camp and about 3,000 refugees in Dohuk and Irbil.
