Pressure on Ankara at a Maximum
Le Soir newspaper said the E.U. gave Turkey a yellow card. It reported that Turkey had one foot in the E.U. and the other out. It also claimed that progress in Cyprus was not possible unless Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Rauf Denktas’ lost the December election.
