US military convoy attacked in Fallujah

The military convoy, which consisted of five Humvees, was targeted at 1:00 pm (0900 GMT) while travelling through the centre of the city. One Humvee was hit by the explosion. Some debris from the vehicle was strewn along the road near where the attack took place. A taxi has suffered heavy damaged at the explosion. Iraqis gathered on the spot and staged a protest with debris of the vehicle.
