Turkish delegation arrives in Kirkuk

KIRKUK (Turkishnewsline) – Ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputies Turhan Comez and Cevdet Erdol have visited Kirkuk Governor Abdurrahman Mustafa and made inquiries about the two hospitals in Kirkuk and Baghdad.

They also met with Iraq Turkmen Front headquarters.

Mustafa said that he was very happy about close interest turkey was paying to his city, and added that they were ready to cooperate with anyone.

Mustafa said they were very sensitive about other countries interfering in their internal affairs, adding that life in Kirkuk was very safe and secure.

He admitted some terrorist organizations were trying to spoil this peaceful environment, adding that they were committed to maintaining public safety and to provide necessary services.

Comez said he knew that turkey was loved in the region, adding that he hoped the harmony in Kirkuk would be an example to all.

Erdol said that 70 million Turks knew that in Kirkuk, there was a Kurdish Turkmen and Asuri brotherhood and that Turkey would feel any hurt they felt. He thanked the governor for his continued help in the building of hospital in the city, noting that the establishment would be serving everyone.
